Our Electrical Panel Services in Louisville & Power Distribution
Panel Upgrades & Replacements
We assess your existing electrical setup, including panel size, load demand, and overall condition, to determine the best solution for your property. Some systems may simply require an upgrade from 100A to 200A to meet modern residential needs, while larger homes or commercial buildings may need 400A or more to support HVAC units, EV chargers, or expanded equipment.
Our team handles everything from main service upgrades to sub-panels, breaker replacements, and detailed labeling. All work is performed in accordance with 2023 NEC standards and in compliance with Louisville Metro codes.
For many clients, a key decision is whether to size a panel only for current use or to allow for future projects. We review planned renovations, additions, or equipment upgrades so you are not forced into another service change a few years later. In Louisville, older homes in areas like the Highlands or St. Matthews often have limited space near the meter, so we plan layouts that fit existing construction while still giving room for future circuits. We also coordinate with the utility and local inspectors so your upgrade stays on schedule and any necessary shutoffs are kept as brief as possible.
Dedicated Circuits & Amp Repairs
Adding new equipment, such as a kitchen appliance, EV charger, or an industrial tool, often requires a dedicated circuit. We install and repair circuits to balance electrical loads, prevent nuisance breaker trips, and protect both the panel and connected equipment.
When we install a new circuit, we review both manufacturer requirements and how you actually use the space from day to day. A home office, commercial kitchen, or small warehouse in Louisville will each have different patterns of demand, and we size wiring, breakers, and placement with that in mind. If you are experiencing partial power loss, buzzing at the panel, or heat at a breaker, we can trace the issue back to loose terminations, overloaded runs, or aging components and correct the problem before it leads to damage or downtime.

What are the advantages of LED lighting over Fluorescent or CFL?Most fluorescent lights and compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) contain mercury among other hazardous materials. As such, these lighting products must be disposed of carefully and properly, so that they do not contaminate landfills or cause danger to anyone. Fluorescent lights are also subject to flickering, and some people can be very sensitive to this, and even experience strained eyes, headaches, and even migraines. On the other hand, LED lights utilize solid-state technology, which enables stable dimming without flickering. Additionally, fluorescent lights can take a significant amount of time to reach their full brightness levels, especially when it is cold. LED lights, on the other hand, turn on instantly in any environment and temperature.

What’s better for lighting, incandescent, halogen or LED?LED lighting is more efficient than incandescent or halogen lighting by approximately 85%, partly because approximately 80-90% of energy emitted from those bulbs gets converted to heat instead of light. Because of this, LED lights do not require nearly as much energy to produce the same amount of light. By design, LED lights will also last about 50x longer than incandescent or halogen lighting.
